Making a game in VB: How do I use variables between forms?

The first form has 3 option buttons to choose which character you want to play with. How do I make it remember which character was chosen in a different form? Please, in really really simple language. I don't know much about Visual Basic.Making a game in VB: How do I use variables between forms?
